TIME 4 A CHAT!
WE PREFER THE TERM "CHAT" AS IT'S LESS FORMAL, THEREFORE, YOU HAVE CONTROL OVER OUR CHATS. THEY CAN BE FORMAL/STRUCTURED OR INFORMAL/UNSTRUCTURED.
THE FIRST WOULD BE TO COVER A PARTICULAR TOPIC, INCIDENT OR EMOTION, THE LATTER WOULD BE IF YOU JUST NEED HELP AND ADVICE AT THE MOMENT (OUT-WITH THE CARE PACKAGE), OR AN UPLIFTING CHAT... SO LET'S CHAT!
Why might going Private be better...
Reasons for considering seeking help through the private sector:
You're not receiving the support you want from your NHS GP.
You want a second (or third) opinion, and your NHS GP isn't able to provide it.
You want to access support more quickly, for example if there is a long waiting list for talking Counsellors on the NHS.
You're looking for a more of a choice of treatments and providers.
You want more intensive support, or support over a longer period of time.
You want access to treatment that isn't available through the NHS.
TAKE THE FIRST STEP TO A NEW YOU...
"I tried going through the NHS but counselling wasn't available out of working hours, which just wasn't good enough. I carried out a search on the Private sector for therapists in my area, sent a few emails regarding fees and availability, then picked the best one for me...And that was that!"
It is not an option for many people because of the financial costs, however, you might feel it's the right choice for you to go Private... either alongside NHS support, or instead of it.

WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE...
The support we will provide you with is emotional and practical that deals with stressful situations in everyday living. We also provide a service which is sensitive and respectful to everyone who calls.
We are committed to supporting the wellbeing of all our clients that offers counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), from which are evidenced-based interventions that has been shown to help people to cope with their issues as well as helping to build resilience.
CBT can help you to change how you think ('Cognitive') and what you do ('Behaviour'), thus, helping you to feel better. It is most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, but can also be used to support other mental and physical health problems.
During your hourly sessions (at a very reasonable cost), you will work with your Counsellor to look into your problems such as: your thoughts, your physical feelings and your actions. However, there are periods of consultation that involves confronting your emotions and anxieties that may lead you to be emotionally uncomfortable. Nevertheless, it may also be helpful for you in cases where medication alone has become unsuccessful.
- health and well-being can be described as the absence of physical illness, disease and mental distress. We believe this to be a negative definition of health and well-being.
- health and well-being can be described as the achievement and maintenance of physical fitness and mental stability. This we believe is a positive definition of health and well-being.
- health and well-being as being the result of a combination of physical, social, intellectual and emotional factors we believe is a holistic definition of well being.
Clients should also know that:
- the ideas about health and well being change over time and vary between different cultures and life stages.
For a variety of different reasons, people’s lives become challenging, complicated and stressful. And for many, it is a struggle to cope. With having “time 2 talk 2 U,” we can help with such difficulties and help provide information on matters with practical assistance. To help resolve matters of concern, many of these issues can be resolved over the phone. However, should we not, clients will be contacted being frequently updated until the matter is resolved… if not… it will not be for the lack of trying.
Counselling for couples is also part of our intervention when relationships are breaking down or have broken down or when improving a relationship requires support. Whether individuals are, living together, married, in a same-sex relationship, divorced, separated or single, our services can help with difficulties in relationships. The counsellor’s role in many cases is to: listen and encourage the individuals concerned, to talk openly and help them to reach their own decisions about moving forward…
